When you visit Wales with Insight 2 Wales you will discover places and find out information that will, perhaps, surprise and delight you. One day you may be standing on the battlements of one of the great castles finding out what life was like during medieval times and the next taking tea with a local choir before they sing for you in a local chapel.

Also, there are visits to great houses and lovely gardens or, as a complete contrast, a descent into a real coal mine where you can go underground and meet the former miners. In this land known for its myths, legends and religion there is so much to see including, for example, a holy well with its remains of a monk's cell or the magnificent majesty of St. David's Cathedral dedicated to our patron saint.

Of course, underlying everything is the rich culture of Wales its ancient language still spoken daily in many places, its musical tradition, its poetry and prose and the images of the land and its people created by painters and photographers over the past 250 years. There will be opportunities to meet musicians, artists and poets and other experts.
